Status of the College:

Ramakrishna Mission Brahmananda College of Education is a Government-Aided Teacher Education Institute run by the principles of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math (Head Quarters). 

The College offers a two-years professional undergraduate B.Ed. Course for male candidates only.

The College provides residential facilities to both the students and the staff. 

The College is NCTE recognized, NAAC accredited, AISHE listed, RUSA 1.0 approved and an affiliated College under section 2(f) & 12(b) of the UGC Act, 1956.

At present, the College is affiliated to the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University [ Erstwhile The West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA)].

B.Ed. Course is mandatory for candidates who want to make their career in the field of Teaching.
