The Principal of the College is a monastic member of Ramakrishna Order. He is appointed by the executive body of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. Swami Nirishanandaji Maharaj is the current Principal (Actg.) of the College who has been appointed as a Monastic Honorary Full Time Faculty of the College by the Governing Body of Ramakrishna Mission Brahmananda College of Education.

Principal’s Message:
I feel privileged to welcome everybody to Ramakrishna Mission Brahmananda College of Education at Rahara. It is a matter of immense pleasure for me to serve the prestigious College in the post of Principal (Actg.). Withstanding the initial struggle and strife, the College has now made its niche in the field of education in West Bengal. Far away from the clatter of city life, our College offers quality education amalgamated with traditional Indian values in a serene campus modelled on ancient India’s Gurukul system. We have a band of highly dedicated and deeply committed teachers who help us disseminating modernistic knowledge coupled with the age-old teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Our College takes pride in having a very good infrastructure, teaching-learning resources, ICT facilities, library, laboratory, hostel, sports complex etc. which make learning conducive and joyful. I take this opportunity to appreciate the presence and contribution of each member of our staff, both instructive and official, in making the College what it is today. With regards.
